a crusty punk who lives on a boat and enjoys dumpster diving and sex with fat chicks. typically is very handy with mechanical work and doesn't mind crawling into the nastiest oily bilge water to retrieve a pair of glasses or a screw driver. often found drinking pbr and yelling for no reason.

A naval term for the people on ships who work below decks, in engine rooms, bilges, etc. These sailors have been known to get nose bleeds when they go above waterline.

My brother was a bilge snipe the entire time he was on the USS Enterprise.

Biligerent

The state of intoxication where you loose the ability to control your actions and or words. One speaks anything and everything that rolls through his or her mind and engages in conduct far beyond his or her normal box of comfort or social acceptability. This is usually met with regret and or embarrassment the next day upon remembering (or trying to remember) the actions and events of the previous night

A Stoker or Spanner Wanker in the Royal Navy. Officially, they are Marine Engineering Mechanics or MEMs. Also, it's accurate since they usually spend a lot of time in the underbelly of a ship.
