Basically it does nothing more than a cash-grab for Discord. Those features aren't worth $9.99/month.

In reference to The Offspring's song "Nitro", nitro means that you will live like there is no tomorrow ;-).

If someone lives like there is no tomorrow you could say "Hey you got nitro!" or something like that.
