yaiko

A mythological creature resembling a crustacean that feeds on the dreams of humans. They can enter people heads by digging a hole in the back of the skull. After they find a host these creatures feed until satisfied or the victim is exhausted, so they can sleep themselves and repeat the process again once they're hungry.

I feel tired and my head is bleeding. I think a yaiko got me last night.

Myōjin Yahiko

One of the main protagonists from the Rouroni Kenshin anime. After being rescued by Kenshin he trains in the Kamiya Kasshin-ryu swordfighting style and in the after-story he learns the Kamiya Kasshin-ryu ultimate technique (Which is catching your opponents sword between your fingers and wielding it against them).
