a cleveland turndown refers to the rare but savory occasion when you find yourself at a female's apartment who you decide that you don't want to bone anymore after originally agreeing to come upstairs. Rather than embarass yourself by having sex with her or rejecting her to her face, you wait for her to leave the room while she changes/takes a shower/goes to the bathroom. When the opportunity presents itself, you carefully unmake her bead, take a huge shit, and then remake the bed just the way you found it. Feel free to wipe with her sheets, pillow cover, comforter, or whatever seems most degrading at the time (bath robe?). But make sure the wipe job is noticeable, so she can piece together your absence on her own. Make sure the rest of the room is just as you found it. Then run like hell and never talk to her again.
Wow man, close call last night. I couldnt shake this one bitch who i picked up at the club, so i was forced to resort to drop her the cleveland turndown. Crude, yes, but it gets the job done.

Get the trundle mug.A trendo is someone who paradoxically emphasizes their individuality by doing what all the other "underground" or "artistic" people are doing. A trendo typically wears gaudy or mismatched clothing that was found at the local thrift store, broadcasts their support for social causes, listens to music that is not typically played on the radio but is still popular in its own "underground" sort of way, uses tattoos and piercings as self-representation, is or pretends to be environmentally-conscious, smokes cigarettes and uses drugs and tries to put off a disorganized or intellectual appearance. A trendo tries to exist independently of mainstream America but is basically reverse-dependent on what the average American is doing. For example, if the typical American citizen is a religious carnivorous patriot, the trendo would seek to become an atheistic vegetarian with anti-capitalistic tendencies. A trendo is not limited to any specific labels, albeit hippies, mystics, rock stars, vegans, activists or nerds. The uniting characteristic of trendos is that they do whatever is trendy outside of mainstream culture (such as MTV and designer clothing) and they want to make sure everyone knows about it. Trendos are poison to individuality because they exploit hobbies, causes, literature and music that nontrendos enjoy in an effort to seem cultured and sophisticated. The goal of the trendo is simply to assert their own superiority amongst others in a way that feeds their vanity and arrogance.
Friend: I went to a party last night at this guy's apartment. Him and his friends spent the whole night smoking Parliaments and talked about the Velvet Underground's contribution to rock and roll. I suggested we go out to eat but they had already prepared some Vegan eggrolls. Then they started watching a black-and-white speech delivered by a German postmodernist but I don't even think any of them spoke German.
Me: What a bunch of trendos.

Get the Trundling mug.(n.) The piling up of newly acquired books or other reading materials for utilitarian (lack of reading time/space/bookshelves), artistic and/or psycho-pathologic (abibliophobia, fetish, OCD, hoarding or addiction) reasons.
The tsundoku scale ranging from just one unread item to a serious hoard, just about everyone (except for the most illiterate amongst us) has one.
The term dates back to the japanese Meiji era (1868-1912) and literally means 'reading pile'. Formed from the expression 'tsunde oku' (to let something pile up), in which 'oku' was swapped out for 'doku' (to read); the words then got cleverly mushed together.

He had no feelings of guilt regarding the books he had not read and perhaps would never read; his tsundoku, ode to the Great Unread, shrine to the Word and bibliophile's inukshuk, had unlimited patience. It would wait for him until the end of his days.
