Tilkedrome

High class modern motorsport circuit usually designed by racetrack designer Hermann Tilke or his company. All of these circuits share certain characteristics (long straights, hard hairpin-like braking zones, esses and expansive tarmac runoff, sometimes painted over). They are often deemed 'unoriginal' or 'dull', due to similar corner combinations and high emphasis on safety and spectator experience.
