The sudden feeling of having received an SMS/MMS text message despite the fact that you are not carrying a mobile phone. May be accompanied by a certainty of "hearing" your message tone and/or "feeling" your phone vibrate. Usually followed by confused searching of your pockets.

"Im sure i just heard my text tone"
"Dude, you left your phone in the car"
"Damn textochondria!"

Someone who is an 'alien' to texting, usually older and technologically impaired.

My grandma is such a textra-terrestrial.

Dude A: Did you get ahold of joe?
Dude B: No, he just barely got a phone last week and he's a total textra-terrestrial.

Textration

The feeling of frustration one gets when they are texting someone and the other person doesn't reply fast enough. Often occurs after more than five to ten minutes of waiting for their reply

Common situation of textration:

(Over text)

Guy: "Hey whats up?"

Girl: "Hey nothing really, you?"

Guy: "Just got home. Wanna hang out later?"

Girl: "Yeah sure, when?"

Guy: "Around 5? Is that good?"

(After 30 minutes of waiting for the reply, the frustration has set in)

(Thinking) Guy: "Come on answer back.."

10 more minutes

Girl: "Sure, 5 o'clock is good."

(Thinking) Guy: "FINALLY!!"

Confident Texter

The act of being overly confident during times of texting and FB chatting, while when seeing the textee in person lacking any social skills at all.

Yeah this person said so much stuff to me when he/she texted me last night like "you are so beautiful we need hangout right now!" The next day I saw him/her in class and all he/she said was "hey". Such a confident texter.
