The elite or dominant portion of a clearly defined field of technology. Can refer to a group or a single member of said group.

To be a member of the technocrati, there should be absolutely no question as to ones competence or ones right to be considered expert in the field.

No other knowledge is necessary. Only the technical.
He was hesitant to post his true opinion because he knew it would be quickly attacked by the technocrati.

A social class of the creative technical elite and technophiles who thrive on driving broad adoption of internet, computer, and mobile technologies forward for the betterment of society and the free flow of information in a variety of cultural contexts. The technogentsia are often technical anarchists, eager to tear down old technical paradigms and replace them with new concepts in the name of progress.
Silicon Valley culture is largely driven by the technogentsia, whose relentless drive to push technology forward in social and political contexts has given rise to social media, crowd-sourcing, and widespread interactivity between devices and users.

From Gk technos ‘skill’ (now used as concerning technology) + aisthēsis ‘sensation’.

Awareness of the possibilities, efficient use and navigation possition of gadgets and technological environment by means of sensory organs and muscles, and machine interface interaction.

This term is supposed to include others more common terms as computer literacy, driver skills, and so on.
A minimum level of technosthesia is required for elders´ autonomous living.

Technoclutz

A word used to describe someone who cannot use technology properly no matter how hard they try. A person who cannot figure out the simplest of things such as signing up for social media sites, navigating computers, cell phones, etc. A person who cannot figure out or embrace any aspect of technology and messes up whenever they try to.

Technodeist Church, also referred as Technodeist Cult, is a name used to refer to churches and cults that use techodeism and scientific deism as the main base of their cults. Usually advocating the search for spiritual beings and gods on the same style of search for aliens, the development of technodeistic technologies and the creation of graduation courses related to technodeism and scientific deism.
