Smedley

1. a term that can be exchanged for any adjective, verb or noun. The function is very similar to thingamyjig, noggin etc. except with the addition of being even more versatile
2. an adjective used to describe something that is below standard

3. an exclamation (when used in it's full name context)

examples:

Etymology: Originally a word unique to Old Landscovian. Derived from the history of Smedley Darlington Butler, whose story unfortunately nobody knows because they were to busy laughing at his hilarious name.
"pass me the smedley!"

"the carrots need to be smedlied first before you chop them"

"not that smedley knife! I need the sharp one"

The colloquial term for any cases of gamers diarrhea contracted by playing any game John Smedley had any influence. The name humorously refers to John Smedley who is notoriously known for destroying any game he touches
