A type of boy who is studying engineering at UCT. Generally known for sharp wit and sense of humour as well as astounding intellect. The Smartypants tends to be the loudest (usually most attractive) guy in the room, and is well liked.

Can also be used sarcastically

"That Kieran boy is a real smartypants"

2. A positive connotation used to appreciate a younger one’s brilliant moment (most the time when it would be a basic standard for an older member of society to understand or accomplish).
