Silvermine

Silvermine is a very nice part of Norwalk that is often failed to be mentioned. This is strange because Silvermine has some very nice attractions including: the Silvermine Tavern and Silvermine Elementary School. Michigan slang for:

1. Any individual who photographed deceased persons while they were still alive, and develops the film or images some time after their death.

2. A person who develops a deceased person's film some time after their death.

3. Anyone involved in post-mortem photography

Refers to the days of black and white silver-gelatin processing, melded with stone refers to being lifeless, like a deceased person, hence silverstone. A silverstone's pictures can be color or black and white.

When Harry's grandmother was still alive, he took pictures of her. She died a couple of months later. Right then Harry developed the film. Harry is now a Silverstone.
