Like Rick and Morty dick and Shorty is the alternative thing to say when you want to get out of a conversation that some cringe NPC is basing their entire existence of so you won’t have to deal with them.

Example: hey, did you ever watch rick and Morty? No have you ever watched dick and Shorty?
(The npc will notice you are not interested in their limited dialogue and leave you alone)

DOT shorty

A "DOT shorty" helmet is the smallest helmet you're allowed to wear while still being safe from getting a ticket. Comes from "D.O.T.", or "Department of Transportation", and "shorty" meaning "a very small helmet that doens't come down very far". Also called a "Beanie" or "Skull Cap".

I ordinarily wouldn't wear a helmet, but I don't want to get a ticket, so I wear a DOT shorty.
