This is usually a girl who - due to makeup, lighting, or angle - looks very good in her chosen picture, but when met in real life looks nothing like the posted picture. A feeling of having been cheated usually washes over the shamy's victims. It is as if one makes their way to a dealership to buy a Lamborghini, but instead walks away with a Honda. The shamy may not have intended to preform the horrendous act, but none the less, the strife they cause those who fall prey to their deceit is all too real.
