The act of quoting music movies or other people numerous times in the same setting.

Going back and forth with a friend spitting out lines from a well known or unknown movie or song... waiting for the other people to catch on.

Or saying words a certain way that listeners get the origin of the verbiage and respond with a similar phrase from the same thing as shown below from Hot Rod.

You can also call someone else quotatious after observing one of the things above.

I am in a "quotatious" mood today, after telling someone, "My name is Bruce Dickinson. Yes, the Bruce Dickinson... I put my pants on just like the rest of you, one leg at a time. Except, once my pants are on, I make gold records."

or

Saying "what?" or "cool whip" with the "WH" emphasized as from the film "Hot Rod."

Quiet quitting

A terminology mainly used by employers and industry to describe employees’ refusal to be exploited through means such as overtime, unpaid work or doing work outside of their responsibilities.

Le Manager: Damn, everyone on the team is suddenly Quiet Quitting. We’re never going to catch up on orders. Nobody wants to work.

Supervisor: So you’re saying that because everybody is working to contract the company is getting behind on work, and you think it’s the employees’ fault and not because you haven’t hired enough hands?

quitamine

A hormone excreted in the female body that causes a women to want to quit something. The gland is found in the woman's vagina. It is the opposite of adrenaline and is something a guy does not experience due lack of proper biological equipment (i.e. men have balls). It is often used as a reason why women want to quit something before it ends or gets difficult. It is also often used as a reason why women get bored with or fall asleep during sex. It is purely coincidental that it sounds like "quit on me".

Her: "The Bears are winning by 30 points. Why don't the Saints just quit? There's only four minutes left, so it's pretty pointless to keep going."
Him: "That's because the Saints don't have quitamine, unlike you who's ready to just throw in the towel when the going gets tough."

Her: *Yawn*
Him: "Don't quit on me yet! I'm just getting warmed up! Damn you quitamine! Damn you to hell!"
