Welsh rock band formed in 1986. They were hugely succesful in the mid and late 90's. Their biggest anythem is argued to be the track A Design For Life which reached number 2 in the charts.

A stalactitic structure composed mainly of urine often forming on toilets, urinals, and sinks in stadium bathrooms when exposed to extremely cold temperatures. See also wee-whacker.

A large-shelled marine gastropod mollusk which lives in shallow, briny Bahamian pee-water. Known for having a tasty black pecker.

Our snorkeling expedition was hindered due to the brackish water and high numbers of peeconchs.

system of ascending precedents

a sequence of events wherein each event sets a new, higher standard that will act as a precedent for all subsequent events.
-As far as I know, this phrase has never been coined or defined before.

Bob tells funny stories and does spontaneous imitations at work. each one is a little funnier than the one before. his co-worker's expectations track with his performance so that now he has to maintain the gradient of improvement every time he opens his mouth or, - and this is the key- they will respond as if it was less funny than it really is. He has trapped himself in a system of ascending precedents.

Manic Street Preachers

British band formed in the late 1980's. Band members includes:
- Nicky Wire (bass)
- James Dean Bradfield (vocals and guitars)
- Sean Moore (drums)
- Richey Edwards (former rhythm guitar)

In the beginning of 1990's, the manics was most known for and an incident where their guitarist Richey Edwards cut the phrase 4REAL into his arm after an argument with a journalist.

The band released three albums as a four-piece, before Richey Edwards vanished in early 1995. To this date, he hasn't been found.

In 1996 they released their fourth album, Everything Must Go, which were their first really successfull album.

The band is still making music. Their latest studio album, called Lifeblood, were released in 2004.

Manic Street Preachers is the only band in the world that really matters.
