The act of conducting a text conversation near a speaker in order to get the false feeing of having a lame super power/ability of predicting an incoming text before actually receiving it. The text can be predicted by a rhythmic patter produced by the speakers.

I like siting by my computer speakers and text predicting. It makes me feel like I have a lame super power.

To spend a large amount of time preparing oneself for a night out. This is the initial stage to "peacocking".

Etymology derives from the dominant beauty of a peacock's feathers. One who precocks has generally spent a large amount of time making oneself physically pretty for a night or an event.

I looked better than everyone else last night at the party. I was 'precocking' for hours...I looked good.
