POPPYCOCK

A word with no true definition. This word used to be a substitute for the expletive bullshit but the word has not been commonly used since the mid forties and has only recently spiked popularity somewhat (most likely because the Ngram viewer isn't very accurate). because of its age, obscurity, and the fact it has the word cock in it, anyone who says this word looks like a complete nincompoop therefore it will be used less and less until it is in nobodies vocabulary such as the words ROFL or floccinaucinihilipilification and soon enough Nincompoop as well

some may argue that because of the absurd pronunciation of the word it will return or make a comeback and honestly a world where all my friends and family say poppycock regularly is a world I don't want to live in, and frankly one I fear

person 1: yeah, so?

person 2: get out and never come back

Poppycock

Poppycock first came from India and is the key ingredient in red meat. Recent scientific studies show that it is good for you, along with hooey (the good hooey, not the bad hooey; which is a preservative found in processed foods). It is the ingredient in pasta which makes it healthy.

You might say "Well there's fat in butter too," but that's just poppycock.
