Odditude

When someone responds to you in a manner that makes no sense whatsoever and moreover gives you lip about it, they are demonstrating an ODDITUDE. They are acting ODD with an attitude.

" I just told John we were out of beer and he told me it wasn't his job to run around and get beer for everyone. If he hadn't gone off on me I would have told him I was just about to go the store to buy more. Man that dude can cop an odditude!"

Orbiting

When someone who won't speak to you otherwise still watches every snap on your story/ IG and/or likes your posts. Usually someone who has ghosted you, but not always. Basically they're lingering in your life despite refusing to be an active part in it in any other capacity.

This guy won't answer my texts but he keeps watching my snap story... he's totally orbiting me.

Orbiter

A guy who secretly loves his female 'friend', and may go out of his way to accommodate her (couch-mover). Either the guy was shot-down early on and was placed in the friend-zone, or he never had the balls to ask her out and inadvertently placed himself in the friend-zone.

Peter wasn't actually a real friend, he was just another orbiter of yours. That's why he was being an ass to your new boyfriend.

Peter is such an orbiter. Look, he's moving a his hot friend's couch on his back!

Beta Orbiter

A beta male who stays within a close proximity of a female or females in hopes of eventually getting lucky. The Beta Orbiter's tactic is to befriend a female, and proceed give her constant attention via text message or in social gatherings. She keeps them in the friend zone, but a beta orbiter falsely believes he is making progress. He may often trash talk other man she tries to date, claiming that she "deserves better".

Beta Orbiters or men who are cucked up, find themselves befriending women who most likely have daddy issues.

nuke it from orbit

One step up from kill it with fire, usually followed by the phrase "it's the only way to be sure."

A paraphrasal of Ripley's line in the 1986 film 'Aliens': "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."

Generally used in response to a clusterfuck, or anything largely weird or gross that needs killing or otherwise dealing with.

Mike: Guys, termites have invaded my house, what should I do?
Dave: Nuke it from orbit!
