metigan

Anything non-Italian. Often used by Italian Americans, it is a bastardization of the word "American". Italian Americans hit the 'r' in a way that the listener might interpret as a 't' sound, and the 'c' in many words can be heard as softer, or with a 'g' sound. The 'i' in Italian is pronounced as a long 'e' sound (ee).

Derived from the Spanish word METICHE- which translates to NOSY. Meticheness is being excessively or extremely Nosy or Medellsome.

Not to be confused with caring or concern.. Purely, none of your business nosiness.

This is a dual language word or in other words bilingual and can be used in both the English and Spanish. Kinda like the word taco is used...lol ;)
