Southern Lehigh High School

Southern Lehigh is a rural school in a rather wealthy area of majority homogeneous (white) student population; nevertheless the influx of African-Americans and Puerto-Ricans has severely damaged its reputation of late. Often times considered an athletic cesspool by outsiders, one has to look no further than the swim team to find the heart and soul of the athletic, academic and social community*. Southern Lehigh graduates and students alike pride themselves on their ability to consume mass quantities of alcohol with apparent ease*.

*All references to things “good” are 98% a reflection of the graduated society

The studly swimmers drank copious amounts of alchohol while rejoicing in their social greatness

Lehigh Lookaway

A common occurrence among students at Lehigh University. When you see someone that you know as an acquaintance, but not a friend, you look away from them rather than acknowledge their existence. It. Old be anything: your phone, the ground, a squirrel, just not the other person.

Also the name of the satirical newsletter at Lehigh University, named after this phenomenon.

I saw a kid from my Chem class earlier but I forgot his name, so I gave him the Lehigh Lookaway.

Southern Lehigh High School

Southern Lehigh High School is a place that was curated by the devil himself. If you are looking to become calloused by a place and the people within it, you have come to the right place. There is a certain cruelty and hatred that exists here that is unfathomable and unbelievable. Surrounded by a depressing atmosphere of flat, wet, fields that were often cold and plagued with a wicked wind chill, you cannot even escape the coldness of the people you are surrounded by. There is no diversity in terms of beliefs, race, religion, sexuality or honestly any other factor. It is a bubble that is hardly escaped because it is only in this high school that racism, homophobia, and other forms of blatant disrespect and ignorance are swept under the rug time and time again. The administration is no better than the student body, as most of them attended nearby high schools with similar beliefs.

"Did you hear about the bomb threat at Southern Lehigh High School?"
"Oh, yeah. Some kid did it to get out of an English test I think."

Northern Lehigh

School that is falling apart in Slatington, Pennsylvania supplementing thier youth into a greater chance of success.

This is done by countering it's students into situations they would rather particularly not oblige to.

Doesn't try to keep a say in thier fundaments. Doesn't have effort because they don't want to have a say because they perform alot of illegal activities that have to do with drugs.

Northern Lehigh is corrupted.

The town the Northern Lehigh school is in is getting very poor and it's because they never finished taking care of all the old abondoned and mucky buildings.

The drugs are a part of the healing process of Northern Lehigh because it's put to terms as a school for the black marketed.

I didn't want the reputation of a Northern Lehigh learner so I smoked cigarettes instead.

Lehigh

A county in southeastern PA that makes up part of the Lehigh Valley. Not terrible, not great. It houses the city of Allentown (ghetto), lots of rural (conservative) areas, and a few "quaint" towns like Emmaus and Macungie. As a result, economic disparities, gender stereotypes and racial tension come to life everyday. Includes the wealthiest townships in the Lehigh Valley, Lower Macungie and Upper Saucon. As of 2008, the median household income in Lower Mac was over $100K, so yeah pretty damn rich. The portion of Lehigh that borders Bucks and Montgomery is a bit more hip than the rest. The northern part is desolate, isolated, and wooded. Home to the bypass from hell, aka the Rt. 222 Trexlertown bypass noted for its excessive traffic lights and pathetically low speed limit of 45mph. Lets just say no one does 45. Also home to some of the best school districts in PA, East Penn and Parkland. The addition of the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley provides a necessary upgrade in the amount of quality shopping. And exposure to other brands that are *gasp* more sophisticated. If you like the status-quo and bad drivers, its your kind of place. But stay away if your young, savvy, and single. And liberal. Head south for better things.

I grew up in Lehigh County where everyone is encouraged the think the same way and pretend that they are worldly, sophisticated and accepting, when they in fact are the farthest thing from it.

Lehigh University

1) A Special Olympic Spelling Bee, eh? We can at least spell "waste" correctly.
2) Our engineering program is damn near the top.
3) Stereotype much?
4) Are you bitter for a reason? Or just because you're poor?
5) I rather enjoy being on Daddy's coin. There's nothing wrong with my father being able to pay for my education.

I didn't get into Lehigh University, so I'm stuck at some public school.

Southern Lehigh High School

A suburban high school in south eastern Pennsylvania, known to people of the area as "the rich school". This school is loaded with preps, posers, emos, and is seriously lacking in any racial diversity. It is also known for it's massive alcohol consumption and wild school dances.

-"I'm really bored, I wish there was a bitchin party we could go to."
-"Let's crash the Southern Lehigh High School prom!"
