Lone Gunner

Someone who makes moves and decisions on their own and doesn't require the company of others to get things done. This doesn't necessarily imply the person is a loner or antisocial, it simply means (s)he's independent. Though normally demonstrating 'above average' intelligence, the intelligence from lone gunner to lone gunner CAN span the full spectrum. You don't have to be a genius to be a lone gunner. Lone gunners just simply do not require the moral support from peers to achieve, not do they like to wait on anyone unless it is mandatory.

Are you a Lone Gunner? If you can relate to any of the following then the answer is yes:

- Someone who hates waiting but isn't impatient. If he can do it himself he will.

- Someone who is not afraid to take on a big task even if it risks failure. To them, the knowledge and experience is priceless.

- Someone who takes pride in doing things themselves.

- Someone who is very versatile in the social department. They can be great in social circles however do not require them.

Lone Rebel

Lone Rebel is an individual that lives in the land of Yankees and liberals. He is also know as Matt the Hauler. He is called Lone Rebel due to him being the only Rebel around town. Hence, Lone Rebel.

1) Look at the Lone Rebel fight for liberty and justice against the odds in Yankee land.

2) Look! The Lone Rebel drives a big blue truck!

3) The liberals surround and berate him, but the Lone Rebel fights on against the odds.

Lone Gunmen

The collective nickname for three characters in the X-Files, Melvin Frohike, Richard Ringo Langly and John Fitzgerald Byers. Three computer hacking geeks who publish the fictitious newsletter, called the "Lone Gunmen." Originally their newsletter was called "The Magic Bullet," but for some reason it was changed in the show. A positive term instead of 'conspiracy nut.' The Lone Gunmen were dissident heroes who fought government corruption and conspiracy. Soon, very soon, anyone who admits a liking of this television series will be arrested and tortured under the new law voted on by congress and the senate, where anyone who even speaks critically of any action of the government can be imprisoned, tortured and 'detained' forever without trial, evidence or charge. Welcome to the New World Order.
