1. A person with hypochondriacademics; an excessive preoccupation with one's grades, usually focusing on some particular and irrelevant reason, which they think will cause them to fail.

2. excessive worry or talk about one's grades, for no good reason.

3. Someone who tells everyone that they are going to fail, lying about how much work they've done. In reality, they've never done badly on an exam or assignment, and they never do.
