I couldn't figure out what was wrong, but my googledexterous roommate found a forum post with a solution. Who knew a bachelor's in library science would pay off?

You just got googled.

A phrase used when one person conducts a Google search to prove a point made in an argument with another person. Phrase was first coined in 2015 in Aurora, IL.

Person 1: You're totally wrong. Julius Caesar did not die in March.
Person 2: Of course he did. Person 2 googles "Julius Caesar date of death" to prove date of death
Person 2: Boom! You just got googled.

someone who spoils a quiz or discussion question by googling the right answer.

I started a quiz about church history on my Facebook status, but a Googlebore killed it off in seconds and spoiled the fun by googling the right answer.

n. when you use a google product to find information, such as directions from google maps, and the result is a bizarre route that takes you miles out of your way.
