The Gibboon is a clumsy creature, commonly creating akward social situations which ultimately lead to it's humiliation.
These screw-ups, or by the Latin name "Giblunders" can include;
Voice / speech errors.
Countless fumbles (tripping / stumbling).
Breaking, dropping or spilling everything it hopelessly tries to hold on to.
Painful accidents leaving permanent physical and mental damage.
Complete lack of foresight.
General bad luck.
The Gibboon is also known for its immense laziness, becoming out of breath and tired after performing simple day-to-day tasks.

Get the Gimbot mug.gtbos - abbrev. "glad to be of service"; i.e. "I am pleased that the services I have performed for you were in some way beneficial to you." May often be used in a sarcastic sense.
The abbreviation may be written entirely in capitals ("GTBOS") or entirely in lowercase ("gtbos"). Compromises such as "GtboS" are considered by most practitioners to be unacceptable.
While most GTBOSologists will agree that this term ought not to be used in its abbreviated form in spoken discourse, attitudes towards this term are gradually becoming liberalized, and more modern academicians (known to most as neo-GTBOSicians) are willing to accept its use as part of oral vernacular, but only if articulated letter-by-letter (i.e. "jee-tee-bee-oh-ess"). All GTBOSological experts will agree that it is improper to speak this abbreviation as a word in its own right (i.e. "gitboss" or "jetboss").

Get the gtbos mug.To obtain extra luck by adding an extra item or 'gibbon' to what you already have.
This phrase comes from Southern China, where the nobel gibbons where seen as "the gentlemen of the forest". These gibbons were collected by wealthy lords and it was common for a lord to add an extra gibbon to his collection to bring enhanced good fortune.
In modern times it has become a phrase used simply to justify overindulging. This phrase is now used less in China and more in Malaysia, Thailand and Sumatra where gibbons still thrive in the wild.
