Ferhoodled

A common adjective in Pennsylvania used to describe something that is confused or mixed up. Derived from the Pennsylvania German (Dutch) dialect. Pronounced: fehr-WHO-dold.

My desk is all "ferhoodled" (My desk is a mess). He's all "ferhooled" today (He doesn't have his act together today).

fierce; very impressive, remarkable, or outstanding; inspiring awe, admiration, or wonderment; a way to describe the high one might get from a drug, dance club, or party; (thought to be derived from "ferocious" as an alternate way of saying "fierce" as it became over-used specifically in gay culture).
