Someone with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). EDS is a very rare genetic connective tissue disorder that causes faulty collagen to be made. EDS can affect every system in the body. The most common symptoms of EDS are severe pain and joint dislocations. Some types of EDS can cause instant death. This term is often used in EDS health communities online.

Her EDSer friends understood how painful it is to repeatedly dislocate joints because they also have EDS.
