Noun: A DORD is an acronym used in a creative writing context, which stands for "Department of Redundancy Department". It is a shorthand way of referencing areas in a draft that may need cleaning or tightening up in a future edit, but for now it is fine to leave the sentence as is and go back to edit later.
The critique partner said, "I think that's a DORD. I'll leave you a comment." With a laugh and some banter back and forth from the other members of the critique group, they highlighted the sentence and saved a comment in the Google Doc.
