An ideology which promotes the discrediting of ideas from any person or entity that disagrees with one's preconceived beliefs, regardless of their source's credibility. It is a common ideology among the "Baby Boomer" generation, born between 1946 and 1964, hence the title "Boomerism".
So many young people's ideas are shot down today without a second thought despite the fact that it will ultimately be their job to fix the issues created by the same group that is largely still in power; what a blatant display of Boomerism!
