Euphemism for employee in corporate America, properly spelled associate. Associates prefer to spell and pronounce the term as assoshit as the term is just stupid and really impersonal.

The CEO of our company insists on having a quarterly assoshit meeting despite the fact we all find them boring, silly and a total waste of time.
