Non-Reader

A term used to describe someone who, enjoys a series of movies based on books. Such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, or Twilight. However, they have never actually read any of the books.

Sarah: Hey did you like the last harry potter movie?
Cecelia: Yeah, it was awesome!
Sarah: Yeah, but I kind of liked the book more.
Cecelia: Oh, I've never read that.
Sarah: You've never read the book? What a Non-Reader..

A person who actually does reading assignments for class that don't require any written answers.

Molly: What's the homework for class?

Peter: Read Part 1 Chapters 1 through 3.

Molly: There aren't any questions?

Peter: Nope, but you should still do the reading.

Peter: Well I'm reading it because I want to be prepared.

Mind Reader

A mind reader is a person or machine that can tell what people are thinking. Three things a mind reader should never do is, reveal their secrets, Disrespect privacy, and gossip.

Josh: “Hey mind Reader! How do u read minds? Tell me your ways!!!”

Mind reader: “I must not, a mind reader should never reveal their secrets.”

Josh: “Oh yeah, the three rules. I’m sorry, I understand and respect your personal space.”

The state of semi-consciousness where one is alternately reading and napping. The person sleep-reading typically has only slight responsiveness to external stimulation or provocation owing to either their sleep state or to their pre-occupation with their reading.

When dad was sleep-reading on the couch, I was able to sneak up and put play-doh in his ears.
