lock crazy

When your paranoid roommate is alone for an extended period of time and gets in the habit of deadbolting the door, then when you return from a trip you constantly get locked out (even with your key). Their habit tends to be hard to break.

Used in a sentence:

My lock crazy roommate keeps deadbolting the damn door, and this makes me angry when it is lightning outside.
