preactive

Coined in the world of public relations, preactive refers to a statement issued that appears to react to something you know will be said by someone else, often a competitor. Can be used to take the sting out of a rival's expected announcement or 'coup'. Similar to pretaliate, but without the nastiness.

Knowing that regular customer Wyle E. Coyote was likely to slam himself into the face of a cliff, ACME issued a preactive statement at the same time they shipped his shoulder-mounted rocket-propelled grappling hook, warning people against the dangers of mis-using hi-tech products and tools.

When you decide to get something delicious to eat before eating something else from someone or some other place. It's not an appetizer ... it's more a meal to carry you over until the next delicious meal.

Hey, Mike! Sharon invited us to dinner tonight, but her food doesn't taste good and I got sick last time we ate her house. We should get a preat at McDonald's before we head over her house for dinner, because I don't want be hungry after we leave.

pecticles

A term used to describe a male with large or otherwise strangely formed pectoral muscles that may resemble female breasts or other genitalia of either the male or female variety.

"Hey, look at that fat guy over there. He's got moobs."
"Nah man, those aren't moobs.. those are pecticles."

the worst possible thing one can think of. usually involving a coach named mark that likes to punish you which is slightly offset by the hot girls there. one especially catches my attention. never go to swim practice!!!
