fag hag

A word for women who spends time with gay or bisexual men, on platonic terms. Its meaning depends on whether the context it is used in is positive or negative, as it can refer to either of two things:
1. Women who are friends with, or prefer to be friends with gay or bisexual men.
2. Women who want a gay friend but only as an accessory; women who go to gay bars only to gawk at drag queens and gay men; women who idolise gay men to the point of fetishisation.

She happily calls herself a fag hag because she's best friends with Tony, who's gay.

"OMG, I want a gay best friend so much! We could go shopping together and gossip and go to gay bars, I want one so much!"
"But I'm gay?"
"That's different, you're a girl. I want a guy gay best friend!"
"You're such a fag hag."

Hag-stone

An incredibly hard stool, which is almost impossible to pass. So called either because it could only have been caused by witchcraft, or because it is so painful to expel that the sufferer’s face is contorted into a permanent grimace.

I barely slept - I was up all night with aching guts, trying to push out a massive hag-stone. I'll have to go to my GP if the suppositories don't shift it.

Analogous to a Sea Hag, a tobacco-hag is like a witch.

hag night

Slang for an informal get-together of close female friends whereas they staunchly agree to attend without any makeup or styling their hair and they tend to show up in their most comfy sweats.

Sometimes there is that one vanity-driven person who comes waltzing in to hag night who has clearly broken the firm but unspoken rules requiring no primping and it is sadly something that keeps this socially maladroit person from any possible future invitations to hag nights.
