"Slapping the cod" is the sexual stimulation of one's own genitals, usually to the point of orgasm. The stimulation can be performed using the hands.

Origin: Spanish (Chile) "Cacheteando el Jurel" first used when two chilean fishermen were fishing for mackerel, when one fishermen felt the urge to unload his semen and turned his back on the other, when the second fisherman noticed this event he asked what he was doing and the fiserman masterbating said "I'm slapping the mackerel".
The name was then changed to "slapping the cod" as this fish is more common in Australia.
