Normie

(Insult/Derogative; Increasingly ironic use)

A person whose sensibilities line up with social norms. The opposite of an "Edgelord." Originated on internet forums to refer to people who prefer established, older memes (Bad Luck Brian, Confession Bear, etc), but quickly became shorthand for anyone with any mainstream taste.

Ironic use is growing quickly, to parody people who say "Normie" sincerely. Similar to "Wake up, sheeple."

1 (Sincere): "Bill doesn't even watch Rick & Morty or Regular Show. He's such a Normie."

2 (Ironic): "Normies ruin everything! Wake up, sheeple! "
