A term referring to the sport mascot fandom, originating from the title of a 2022 short film "A Visit From Mascot Verse". Mostly used in art or posts referring to sport mascots under the hashtag #mascotverse.

Miscontraception

When one or both members of a couple mistakenly believe that their condom has been punctured due to fierce intercourse.

Woman 1: Oh my goodness. I need a morning after pill. I think his condom broke last night!!
Woman 2: Honey, don't even worry about it. It was probably just a miscontraception. We've all made that mistake.

muscolo

Foghorn, from Italian mus- (Greek 'mus-ic' ) colo (Latin 'neck'). Originally an instrument made from the neck and lungs of a bull, operated by two men, each applying their full weight to a lung. The resulting expulsion of air through the neck caused a powerful low-frequency tone that could be heard for many miles and carried especially well over water. The 'muscolo' required strong support and was usually affixed amidship to the main mast. Recharging was difficult as each 'muscolier' took turns inflating the lungs by exhaling back into the neck. Commonly found on Adriatic ship traffic until the 4th century AD, when they began to be replaced by mechanically driven ram horns.

Tales of the muscolo and its legendary muscoliers survive to this day in many southern Italian folk songs.

misconbobulation

using a big word or phrase in the incorrect context or getting the word slightly wrong. Most commonly uttered/slurred by people who are drunk and trying to pretend they are not.

"do you need some help with that?"
"No, I will do this off my own back",
"i think you mean ' my own BAT', and that was an unfortunate example of misconbobulation"
OR

"Look at this field with some fine examples of topology" (ok that one is not likely to be said by anyone drunk unless they are actually lying in said field).

Muscadime Wine

A Southern wine usually home made. Found at Bonfires and field parties in the southern states. Favored drink among GRITS. Made from a rich grape called muscadime.

Those GRITS love muscadime wine more than country music.
