chrome box

A device made from a strobe light and a piece of infrared plastic that's used to change traffic lights which have Opticon sensors. Used by ambulenses and shady people to get through traffic quickly. Probably named chrome box because a strobelight reflector looks chrome-like. It's probably illegal in 75 states.

I save 45 minutes from my trip to work everyday with this chrome box foo, fuck da po-leece dey ain't never gonna katch me.

CAROLINA CHROME

The use of silver or gray duct tape to secure a loose or broken part of a vehicle's body. Coined by Southerners in North and South Carolina to depict the poor sight of beat up old cars belonging to red necks.

Emily used an entire roll of duct tape to keep her bumper of after backing into that telephone pole. Gotta love that Carolina Chrome!
