latin aphorism literally translating to "art is long, life is short" but implying that art takes a long time and we only have a short time to make it.

but to non-latin speakers (everyone), it evokes "big ass, short life" which is a controversial claim.

Middle Eastern, Arab gulf countries word for people who suck. Often used to describe a gaggle of ill-mannered people, or your friends, if they embarass you.

Laughable people.
