Agreeing not to tell on, tattletale, or report something or someone but do it anyways.
For example.
A Person, who is your friend, asks you to not tell anybody, especially his wife, that he went to a strip club.
Then you tell that person that you will not say anything about it anybody, including his wife.
Then you turn around and tell his wife about it anyways.
That's considered snitching.
