On the bible there is a passagein Mattew that tells a episode from the Judgement of jesus Christ :
Pilate Washes his Hands

So, in another words as well as pilatos did an said we can see by the context that he was with tied hands ,we can use the name of him to explain that we are with Tied hands too so ,instead of sayin' " i can't do that ",i'm with tied hands "or i'm unable this moment ",we can use another form of sayin' : 'I'm like Poncio pilates ". it is good for those that understand the bible .

This lawyer-like term is used because "it's none of your business" and "it is my choice" is no longer socially acceptable. Made popular by MVP Quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

MEDIA: "Hey Aaron, have you been vaccinated?"
AARON RODGERS: "I'm immunized."
