When somebody announces information or posts it on the internet that they clearly aquired through a wikipedia page, but they say it in a manner where you are supposed to believe that they just know it and are intelligent. However, when called upon it they rationalize how they obtained the information. Usually used by an educated individual who thinks they can pull it off.

They want you to believe they know what they're talking or they have the definitive answer to a topic because they looked it up on wiki. In reality all they know is how to spell "wiki".
