When somebody announces information or posts it on the internet that they clearly aquired through a wikipedia page, but they say it in a manner where you are supposed to believe that they just know it and are intelligent. However, when called upon it they rationalize how they obtained the information. Usually used by an educated individual who thinks they can pull it off.

Super Awesome Guy: Blah Blah Blah Someone has OCD about OCD. lolz

Random Troll Appears: Well OCD requires blah blah blah and blah blah blah. Sorry I took a class on it.

Surfing Wikipedia continually out of sheer boredom.

Ex. Tonight, while watching Family Guy, I was being a Wiki Hawk and found out that Seth Mcfarland used to be a writer for the cartoon Johnny Bravo.
