Because they create a perfect companion through this character, real people no longer seem attractive.

When people pretend to be extremely liberal on the internet. Generally people who are libposting adopt a fake persona that is offended by everything and is extremely politically correct.

I was talking about Thanksgiving on the internet when this guy called it "Thankstaking" and went on a rant about how evil a holiday it was. As I was about to respond, he said he was just libposting.
