When someone makes an apology that is half-assed, unsatisfactory, or flippant.

It generally falls flat, and needs improvement.

Person 1: We were talking about it, and he didn't understand but he was super rude. He finally understood what I was saying, but it didn't go well.

Person 2: Did he apologize?
Person 1: It was a blah-pology. He tried.

A disinterested frustration with something overwhelmingly negative or boring.
