The biggest of the big leaf trees in the deciduous family that are endemic of western North America. the Oregon Maple (Acer Macrophyllum). The tree is native to the Pacific Northwest coast range, from California, US, to British Columbia, Canada.

The way this Acer Macrophyllum hangs from the cliff by the fingers of it's roots is poetic.

Ghetto slang for "act right". Usually used in the context of a female that is misbehaving in front of a man and needs to ackrite (act right) by getting their ass smacked and/or fucking.

It can also be used as something that will make one ackrite if one goes too far.

This term is well known for being used in Dr. Dre's song Ackrite as well as comedian Roy Woods Jr.
