Assistant Manager Syndrome

When the assistant manager is more strict or micromanages more than the actual manager as a way to try to prove their worth to corporate. This behavior usually indicates someone being after the store manager position. People with Assistant Manager Syndrome are often condescending due to a distrust in you to execute your job responsibilities properly.

Assistant Manager Syndrome is most prominent after company-wide manager meetings, and the strictness and micromanaging typically retreats to normal levels within a month after these events.

Staff Assist

What is called over the intercom when a patient acts extremely unsafe or disruptive at the psych ward and they need
extra help to deal with the situation. When the situation is extra dire, a "staff assist with security" may be called.

Roman: "Man, that dude is going absolutely insane. We'd better call for a staff assist!"
Mike: "With security?!"
Roman: "Yes!"
Mike: "Oh no! I'll get the Thorazine then!"
