When something is really funny that it deserves more than a lol or even a rofl. The term comes from a reference to the oddly delicious meal combination of chicken and waffles that is often served in predominantly black eateries.
Similar to roflcopter, lollerskates and lolocaust, it is a funnier way to say something is funny in internet nerdspeak.

Use of this acronym may indicate its user is sick of having to endure all the newbs using the above acronyms, or could be meant in a more lighthearted way.
