Academy of Notre Dame

The premier all-girls catholic prep school in Philadelphia. The "Teach them what they need to know for life" motto is very fitting. St.Julie is a prominent figure and should be as she is their foundress. Whether it's statues or her feast day, the girls are aware. The girls her are respectful and truly come out of their shell. They don't care what people think of them and speak their mind. While most are athletic, many also spend the majority of their time in the dance studio or in the Connelly arts building. They defy many of the all girls school stereotypes in that the girls are almost always kind to each other. Door holding and hellos are common and many girls are quite nice. The girls like to have fun, and often gripe about the amount of work but for the most part get good grades. Baked goods are coveted at ND and when you miss your assigned snack day for your put in the mead hall with Grendel. But while this school is excellent in all academic, athletic and social aspects, they lack in the boy department. Unless you know boys from your childhood or they live around the corner, you don't meet guys through ND. The crazy good atmosphere here makes up for the lack of guys. From their IRISH sports bras to their ND socks, these girls are sisters neath the gold and blue and seem to adhere to the Honor Code. GO ND!

"Not exactly, I think I'm going to ask this guy I went to elementary school with."

Death Note

Death Note is A fantabulous manga series about Light Yagami, a seventeen year old high school student in Japan. He finds a death note, dropped by Ryuk the shinigami, and proceeds to use it to rid the world of evil.
The way a death note works is that you write a name down in it and...they die. You have to know their name and face. If you don't specify a cause and a time, they'll die in 30 seconds of a heart attack. Light kills off the world's nastiest, most wanted criminals, thinking he's doing good.
However, his plans may be foiled by the mysterious "L", who works together with the police and the FBI to track down "Kira", the name that people all over the world use to refer to him.

This awesome series is also an anime, and is a movie in Japan. It will soon be a movie in America as well, starring...**gag**...Zac Efron.

institute of notre dame

IND is an all-girls school in baltimore, maryland. It is known to be "ghetto" just because of where it's located. Inside, it is totally the opposite.(you wouldnt know until you've been inside) IND has the most awesome spirit weeks! ;) we've got stuff to be proud of like the Varsity&JV basketball team (who don't go around getting pregnant unlike other schools out there...)Other sports that IND rock at are soccer, lacrosse, cheerleading, track, and MANY more.
There are many rumors about the school, but the people that actually make up those rumors are just jealous because they know IND is way better and they've got nothing better to do.
And yes, IND is A REAL PRIVATE SCHOOL. Obviously, whoever said that does not know IND at all. Education is the most important part of IND. And 99% of the girls get into great colleges all around the U.S. and they use their education from IND to their benefit.
All around, IND is a great high school that people should get to know before believing the rumors. (or making up any)

Notre Dame Fairfield

a school in fairfield, ct thats borders bridgeport. the school is filled with fun outgoing people, the cafeteria food is really really good, the schools is also very diverse you'll walk down the hallway and see different races; the school also has a comforting family feeling; and it is an wonderful fun school, and also basketball and hockey are really huge sports

College of Notre Dame of Maryland

An all women's college in Baltimore, MD which is over 100 years old, where every one is awesome, and not everyone is a lesbian contrary to popular public belief in some areas. A rockin school in a small setting, with a cool belltower. Known as CONDOM, for short. Who else could have thought of that besides nuns?!?!

Person 1:"Hey, have you been to CONDOM lately?"
Person 2: " You mean, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, no, but that place is awesome!"
