A nerd is basically a person who has a higher understanding of things than most regular people.Do not confuse them with dorks or geeks. Nowadays everyone believes that they must be the same as everyone else to be accepted.Nerds are able to oversee this and become successful in life unlike the jocks,skaters, or cool kids. Nerds are the same as everyone else and are not superior to anyone but thanks to the mainstream people believe that nerds are social rejects. A nerd has a 8 out of 10 chance of becoming successful while the jock has a 2 out 10 chance of being successful.

nerd fishing

the act of finding out who the nerd is in a group by throwing out incomplete or incorrect information in order for the nerd to ''bite' by adding more info(more than general knowledge) or correcting the original statement or phrase

me: Hey i went to the museum and saw the fat venus.

nerd: do you mean the Venus of Willendorf? when were you in Vienna? did you know that It is carved from an oolitic limestone etc, etc...

Nerd Fail

A nerd fail occurs when someone with exceptionally well grades (in the 95%ish area) receives anything below 85% on an assignment, quiz, test or exam.
It isn't a fail through the eyes of their peers, but to them THEY FAILED!

1: gah ...im so upset i got 83% on my science test. i failed.
2: you should be happy 83% is really good, totally not a fail.
1: 83% is a very big nerd fail to me.

The Chad Nerd

The Chad Nerd is someone who is an Absolute Chad who excels at everything he sets his mind to and is highly respected by others. He knows how to talk to women and makes many friends. He has many nerdy and geeky tendencies and quirks (like enjoying reading, being on Discord 24/7, speedrunning etc.), but has many Chad-like qualities nonetheless.

Man 1: Wow, Elijah acts like such a Chad but he's so nerdy and dorky too. Wtf do we call that?

Man 2: IDK, I guess The Chad Nerd?

Nerd Rage

Term used to describe extreme anger, offence, indignation, and other similar emotions by a nerd, geek or similar. Nerd Rage can be triggered by a number of things, most commonly through helplessness in the face of bullying, internet fights, or seeing their favorite film/show/anime/etc degraded or insulted in some way.

"So, did you see the new Transformers movie?"
"Yea. Michael Bay screwed it up so badly, it set my Nerd Rage off big-time."
