A popular nickname for the city of Memphis, Tennessee. It obviously compares Memphis to Africa because of the demographics. There is also a good chance of getting AIDS in both places.

Why are alot of these AIDS foundations just for Africa? They should have one for Memphrika, too!

Mermaid Effect

When a man/boy goes an extended period of no wanking, women grow hotter exponentially each day.

Based on the idea of sex-starved sailors who would see manatees frequently and eventually they began to see them as mermaids.

The mermaid effect totally kicked in when I was camping last week. That tree with the hole started looking pretty good by the end.

Pretty much the best town in TN!
besides the crime rate, dirty resturants, ppl holding weapons to ur back asking you for money at 3 oclock in the afternoon, crappy schools, the mayor, the drugs, and having ur car stolen twice a year......it has the best BBQ and that prety much makes up for everything!

Memphis is a wager game where you flip a coin (preferably a Tennessee quarter) in which the wagerer wins the bet if the coin lands heads up. This game was played on the streets of Memphis and became popular among the colleges of the area including Fisk University beginning in 2009.

A heavy drinker, esp. a habitual one. A witty person who holds down the bar til the break of dawn; rarely leaves their post. Mermen enjoy the celebration of beverages and spitting game to random girls. Pertaining to one who buys rounds of grape bombs for all those around them.

"Merman was on point last night...he was buying grape bombs and pouring them down girls throats!"
