The belief that manual labour and the dirty, dangerous jobs are for men, whom they describe as disposable and inferior.

radical feminism

A 'current' in feminism that views gender relations and sexism as the direct result of a system of patriarchy and an androcentric (male-centered) society. Radical feminists go beyond critiques of legal systems, and critique the entire culture of gender and sex.

Radical feminism aims to challenge and to overthrow patriarchy by opposing standard gender roles and androcentrism, and calls for a radical reordering of society. These suggestions often include the abolition of gender roles, the support of GLBTQ rights and liberation, the restructuring of the family, and economic changes to end any gendered privileges.

Radical feminism has been around for a long time, but really began to developed into its current form during the Second Wave of feminism, and further evolved with the Third Wave, in which feminists began to explore the way sexism affects and is affected by other forms of antagonism and oppression, such as class and race.

Dude, I totally learned about the system of androcentric domination and oppression after taking a class on radical feminism. I feel both a sense of liberation and a responsibility to, like, aid the liberation of others.

Ultra-feminism

Ultra-feminism is like feminism but with the belief that women are better than men. While people are allowed to think what they want, the whole point of feminism is equality for BOTH men and women, not a bias to one or the other.

While sexism is a horrible thing, it does not give a reason for women to do the same thing to men.

Ultra-feminism is not good, but normal feminism is fine.

The idea that women are equal to men. That men should treat women like equals and that men should respect a woman as they would respect another man. Feminists do not dislike or hate men, they just believe that women should be treated with respect, paid the same as men in the work force and share domestic duties equally with men.

the feminine edge

the feminine edge includes certain characteristics of a heterosexual male that could be described as feminine such as excellent hygiene, use of body products, the ability to create coordinated outfits, etc., that give said male an edge in his ability to appeal to women while retaining his masculinity. The feminine edge distinguishes itself from metrosexuality in that it does not go as far in its femininity and does not embody narcissistic assumptions.

John: Did you seriously get a pedicure?!
Steve: Yeah I got a color called steel...it's all about the feminine edge.
