Mix between the words Thor and Weeb. Is used to designate an individual that is obsessed with Vikings, Scandinavian mythology and Nordic Imagery, generally romanticized to fit their liking. They are the viking equivalent of weaboo incels romanticizing Japanese culture.

Usually, Thorweebs can easily be identified with their Viking-themed tattoos, jewelry or hairstyle. Most of them proclaim they are Pagans and watch religiously History Channel's Vikings.

Their lack of historical accuracy and knowledge about history separates them from other Viking enthusiasts, such as historical reenactors.
